The story behind Sandlot
Sandlot Radio Network grew from a long-running baseball radio tradition into a modern media brand built for today's fans. Founded by Tad Powers, the show first aired at The Fan in Denver in 2004.
By 2012 the network had expanded into 29 markets across 17 states, heard on ESPN Radio, Sporting News Radio, Mile High Sports Radio, and Fox Sports Radio. After a hiatus, Sandlot returned to the airwaves on KABC in 2023 and Fox Sports Radio Ventura — with 350+ episodes, live streams, and legendary baseball stories on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and SiriusXM MLB Network.
