“From Denver to 29 Cities Across America”
Founded and hosted by former professional baseball player and Major League scout Tad Powers, The Sandlot Radio Show debuted in 2004 on The Fan in Denver. Over eight incredible seasons, the show expanded to ESPN Radio, Fox Sports Radio, Sporting News Radio, and more, reaching audiences in 29 cities across the United States.
After a brief hiatus, the show made its grand return in 2023 on KABC Los Angeles, eventually moving to Fox Sports Radio in 2024. Now, as it prepares to resume broadcasting on AM 1510 and 1067 FM in April 2025, The Sandlot Radio Show continues to be a beloved destination for baseball enthusiasts.

At The Sandlot Radio Show, we celebrate the heart and soul of baseball through storytelling. Founded in 2004 by former professional baseball player and Major League scout Tad Powers, our show is one of the nation’s only family-friendly, educational programs dedicated to America’s pastime.
Every episode features engaging interviews with baseball legends, coaches, scouts, front office executives, and media members. From childhood memories of sandlot games to the journey of making it to the big leagues, we explore what inspires and drives individuals to pursue their love for the game.

Our Journey
The Sandlot Radio Show first aired on The Fan in Denver and quickly expanded to ESPN Radio, Fox Sports Radio, and other major networks, reaching 29 cities across the U.S. After a brief hiatus, we made our comeback on KABC Los Angeles in 2023 and joined Fox Sports Radio in 2024. Starting in April 2025, we will broadcast on AM 1510 and 106.7 FM.
